May is National Speech, Language, and Hearing Month! π₯³
It's time to celebrate the importance of communication and the incredible work our Speech-Language Pathologists do every day. SLPs assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of speech and language disorders, which can include difficulties with articulation, fluency, voice, and language comprehension. Speech therapists work with people of all ages, from children with developmental delays to adults recovering from strokes or injuries. They also work with individuals who may have difficulties with swallowing and ensure safe eating and drinking. Through personalized therapy sessions, they help clients develop effective communication strategies, enhance their speech clarity, and build confidence in their ability to express themselves. Their work is essential in promoting better communication and improving the overall quality of life for those they serve.
Thank you Linda and McKenzie for all you do for our patients at Total Rehab!
