Registered Nurse – ICU Department

Job Summary
We are seeking skilled and dedicated Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurses (RNs) at our Coldwater, MI location. In this role, you will provide advanced nursing care for patients requiring continuous monitoring, life-support interventions, and complex clinical management. This role operates within the full scope of RN practice as defined by the Michigan Board of Nursing and healthcare accreditation standards.

Job Duties:
•Engage patients and families as active partners in care decisions, addressing their values, preferences, and educational needs.
•Provide compassionate, dignified, and respectful care to patients facing life-threatening conditions.
•Perform comprehensive assessments and respond rapidly to changes in patient status, including hemodynamic instability, respiratory failure, and neurological compromise.
•Interpret diagnostic data (such as lab results, imaging, and monitoring outputs) to guide clinical decision-making.
•Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized critical care plans in collaboration with intensivists, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams.
Qualifications:
•Demonstrates eligibility to work for any employer in the U.S.
•Education: The RN in Michigan must complete twenty-five contact hours of continuing education during his/her licensure period. At least 2 hours of contact hours must be related to pain and pain symptom management. At least 1 hour of contact hours must be related to implicit bias training. BSN (preferred)
•Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Michigan.
•BLS and ACLS certifications required.
•Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
•Ability to manage life-sustaining equipment and therapies.
•Proficiency with EHR systems and healthcare technologies.
