Let’s talk Goodrx and Trumprx. Sounds great but this is why I have more white on the head every day. These plans work with PBMs to get you the lowest price. That price is close to or most times below the cost I can buy the medication. Then they charge me a fee for processing the claim. You get the best price and I lose $10-30 dollars on every prescription. How is that a sustainable business model? Large volume stores can take that hit but little hometown stores are just trying to keep the doors open. State and federal legislative branches are slow to help and meanwhile we have to do a risk analysis on every prescription we fill. We are wrestling everyday to serve you. Stay with us!
