The weather held off for us to get our yearly tradition in... The high school football players taking us to the fair! We looked at all the wonderful things and watched some games. Then headed back home to have fair burgers and pie before the rain! Thank you to all the boys and their coaches!! It is a tradition we dearly treasure!

Good Samaritan is currently accepting bids for ground work, foundation removal and basement fill-in. The house currently at the site is to be moved to a different location this fall. Special thanks to Benton County Health Department for coming to play celebrity Bingo with us this week. Dolly Parton and Loretta Lynn were in the house to perform and Dolly even patched things up with our nurse
"Jolene ". They brought the best prizes and snacks too. Thanks again for such a memorable day!

Tuesday we took some of the residents to the Missouri State Fair. We had such a fun day enjoying the beautiful weather and taking in all the sights. The animals were a favorite as always and we really enjoyed listening to The Huckleberries perform as we ate our funnel cakes. We walked through several buildings and couldn't believe how big the pumpkins were. We might have even sampled a few pieces of fudge before coming home. Special thanks to everyone who went along to help and to Teresa Viebrock for paying for resident and employee tickets. We have such a wonderful team!
