We celebrated Octoberfest this evening, complete with brautwurst, sauerkraut, pretzels, German chocolate cupcakes and beer! We were blessed to have the German singers grace us with traditional German music. A couple of our residents even taught us a few words. PROST! 🍻

Recently four of our residents competed against teams in over ten other facilities in a virtual reality fishing tournament and won first place. They are pictured here with their first place trophy. We are so proud of them!

As we continue to show our appreciation to our kitchen staff here at GSCC, our administration brought in food for them and sent them to play bingo for fun prizes, while they served lunch and cleaned up for them.

St. Croix Hospice came to do a fun fall craft with us this past week. The residents had a great time although they couldn't believe we were wasting so many good buttons.

Special thanks to Benton County Health Department and Hospice for coming to play Bingo with our residents. This month was football themed and we had a lot of chiefs fans. We played charades, trivia, and Bingo with lots of fun prizes and quarters. They also brought the very best snacks just perfect for football themed Bingo of course!
