We started off by thinking we would decorate these candle holders for fall, but the decision to bring on the Christmas decor was unanimous! It was such a fun day getting creative!

We had the absolute pleasure of the Cedar County Piecemakers sharing their works of art with us at The Embers! Their talents are phenomenal! We even had a special quilt shared created by one of our resident's mothers featuring hand embroidered blocks of the (then) 48 states of America.

Check out all the birthday fun we had this week! To know this young lady is to love her. She certainly brightens up our days! A huge thank you to the Dirks family for the birthday pizza party for all of us at The Embers! 🍕🍪

Yesterday we had a "Thankful for our residents raffle giveaway" and we asked what the residents were thankful for!

Happy Halloween! Look at these fun mini pumpkins the residents painted. Stop by The Embers for Trick Or Treating tonight from 4p-6p. The residents would love to see the kids in their costumes!!

We were able to have some puppy love and cuddles at The Embers! He was the sweetest little guy 💗

Last week we had fun with indoor golfing! What a great way to stay active and cheer each other on. These ladies even encouraged the staff to join in the fun. We are blessed with the best residents ❤️
