Here's a little back story about myself. I have an Associates Degree is Horticulture and a Certification in Floriculture from Parkland Community College. When I was in highschool and college I worked at nursery and after college I spent a few years as a florist before I started my job in healthcare (I needed the health benefits for myself and my family). I have continued to dable with artificial flowers as a hobby, but my true passion is gardening and working with fresh flowers. I continue to expand my gardens every year along with growing and drying my own herbs. Below are some pictures of flowers that I cut out of my own garden to make a vase arrangement and herbs that I cut and hung to dry.

I switched gears today! With Halloween fastly approaching, I started making Christmas decor today. This beauty is $35!

A couple of months ago I cut, wrapped, and hung some fresh flowers out of my gardens to dry. Today I made a wreath with those dried flowers, not to mention the grapevine wreath I used was made by my Dad from the grapevines I planted at my parents house back when I was in highschool! Who thinks I should dry more flowers next year to be able to make more "earthy/organic" wreaths to sell?
