We were honored to sponsor High Point University’s Veterans Day program on Friday! Nearly 60 River Landing residents attended – many of whom are proud veterans themselves.

It was a meaningful day to honor their service, connect with fellow veterans and celebrate the sacrifices made by so many. We’re so thankful for our residents and so proud to stand alongside HPU in recognizing our nation’s heroes. ❤️💙

Yesterday’s golf social with our Residents of the Future was a hole-in-one! We loved getting to know our soon-to-be neighbors, making new friends, and sharing some friendly competition. At River Landing, fun, friendship and active living are always par for the course.

Together, we Made It Happen!

Last Week’s Meal Packaging Event at River Landing was a success! Our community rallied for our twice-yearly meal packing event, where residents, future residents, team members, friends and family joined forces to package 100,000 meals for people in need. With another 100,000 packaged this past spring, that’s 200,000 meals in 2025 alone!

Assembly lines formed as everyone worked side by side to support Out of the Garden Project , a Greensboro-based nonprofit that combats food insecurity across the Triad. Their mission includes distributing nutritious food, running mobile markets, operating Operation Backpack for students, and even growing fresh produce on their urban teaching farm.

Events like this show the heart of River Landing – neighbors, team members and family members coming together, rolling up their sleeves and making a real difference for our wider community. 💙

Love was in the air – and on four paws – at River Landing’s first-ever doggie wedding. Residents and team members packed the room to watch Yorkie bride Lacey and Schnauzer groom Guinness tie the knot in a celebration filled with balloons, cookies, laughter and community spirit.

Planned by the resident-led Dog Club, the event was more than adorable – it showcased the joy, creativity and connection that make life at River Landing so special.

✨ The Silent Auction at River Landing was a HUGE success! ✨

Thanks to your support—along with our generous sponsors and other fundraising efforts—we’ll be packaging over 100,000 mac & cheese meals on Friday, September 26, and Saturday, September 27 to help fight food insecurity in our local community. 💛

Residents also enjoyed a delicious nacho bar and desserts in The Waters Edge across from the multipurpose room during the auction, making it a fun and memorable evening for all. 🌮🍰

Stay tuned—we’ll be sharing a volunteer sign-up link soon for those who want to lend a hand at the packaging events.

At River Landing, our team members are more than employees—they’re the heart of our community. That’s why we’re proud to invest in their futures through our Employee Scholarship Program.

This year, 40 team members received scholarships totaling $46,000 to pursue their educational dreams—from nursing and law to engineering, education and beyond. Even more inspiring, every single applicant was awarded a scholarship.

Thanks to the generosity of our residents, this program has grown tremendously over the past nine years, creating opportunities for team members to learn, grow and advance in their careers. It’s one of the many ways River Landing continues to be a place where people come to work, thrive and feel supported every step of the way.

We’re thrilled to introduce and congratulate the newest graduating class of CNAs from River Landing’s CNA Program!

These nine incredible women have worked tirelessly to earn their Certified Nursing Assistant certificates, and today we celebrated their accomplishments with a special ceremony in the River Landing multipurpose room—surrounded by proud family and friends and residents.

We couldn’t be prouder of our graduates and all they’ve achieved. The future is bright, and we know they’re going far!

Tropical vibes only at River Landing over the weekend!
Residents danced the night away, enjoyed delicious island-inspired food, and soaked up the sounds of steel drums played by the amazing Augie the Pan Man. Full of nonstop music and laughter, this tropical party was a night to remember! 🌴🥁✨

Thanks to the generosity of six endowments - established by our dedicated residents and supporters - this year’s recipients are receiving support to pursue their educational dreams. Guided by our Employee Scholarship Committee, these awards reflect River Landing's commitment to the growth & success of our staff. This year, we are honored to award over $46,000 dollars to deserving staff members.

Residents cooled off with a sweet treat at River Landing’s monthly ice cream social – the perfect excuse to mix, mingle and make new friends. With an assortment of ice cream flavors, brownies, hot fudge, sprinkles and all the fun toppings, it was a sweet celebration of community. A simple, refreshing way to bring neighbors together!

What a jolly good time we had at our Christmas in July Summer Market here at River Landing! Thank you to all the amazing vendors, residents, guests, and staff who helped make this event such a festive and heartwarming success.
