Kevin Billiot - Instructor NRA & Louisiana DPS Certified instructor since 2008. This is the required course to obtain your CCW permit. Currently recognized in 37 other states.

Get your CCW Permit and help our mission work in Mozambique, Africa. I'll use 50% of your tuiton to fund my next trip in 2018. In this class you'll learn shooting fundamentals, laws pertaining to use of force, and safe handling of a handgun. This is the basic course for Louisiana citizens who want a Concealed Carry Permit. The course is required prior to applying for your CCW Permit. I've been a c

ertified instructor for 8+ years. Tuition is reduced for all participants to $75 and half the proceeds will help send me to continue our evangelism and church planting work among the Nsenga people in Mozambique. Class begins promptly at 8AM. Items to bring:
*Gun with properly fitting holster.
*At least 1 box of factory practice ammo (50 rds);
NO RELOADED ammo permitted.
*Eye protection
*Food/drinks/snacks; we break for lunch but you're welcome to brown bag it or bring something that can be reheated in the microwave.
*Wear clothes that can get wet/dirty; we shoot rain or shine

If you don't already have access to a handgun for the class, I have a rental for $10. You still need to purchase your own ammo. I have a .38 revolver or a .40 Glock semi auto. You can use either. I also have a few spare holsters that might work for you if needed but please contact me in advance to be sure. The class atmosphere is "casual." The material covered is "basic" but very informative and practical. People with zero experience around guns and life-long "experts" have both benefitted greatly from this course. RSVP's are required and will be closed at 10:00PM Thursday, December 7 to allow me to prepare an appropriate amount of materials for class. RSVP's are made by deposit. IMPORTANT: Upon completion of this state-required class you will be issued a certificate. In order to obtain your permit you will still need to apply with the State of LA within 12 months of completing the course. There are potential additional fees associated with applying. A standard 5-year permit is $125 or $500 lifetime. State fees are discounted 50% for applicants over 65 and are discounted 100% for all military veterans with an honarable discharge. Because of your support, we had to upgrade to a dedicated building. For those that don’t know, Vice Works, LLC was started at a dining room table and work was done in an 8x12 shed. We have outgrown that arrangement thanks to you guys! Our new building has enough room do work as well as display items. Please be patient while we get it ready to better serve you fi****ms needs. These are available just in time for bow season:

A like-new Elite “Energy 32” compound bow with one-of-a-kind wall hanger (a custom flag built by me).

I bought the bow used and had it restrung but didn’t realize how my shoulder surgery would prevent me from drawing it.

It’s a great bow with a transferable lifetime warranty from the manufacturer. It’s very highly rated by buyers on every site where it’s sold.

This one includes a 5-arrow quiver, Trophy Ridge adjustable sight, Cobra release, and arrows.

It has been tuned up with a brand new, never-used string. Currently it’s set at 52 lbs, adjustable up to 70. The paint shows obvious signs of typical use, but it functions like new. $520 spent on it.

The custom flag is 37” wide carved on pine, framed with cypress.

$350 for the bow. $350 for the flag.

Need a renewal?

Several have asked recently about taking the class for permit renewals. I will be unable to teach for a while (likely through this year). Nothing wrong, just can’t make time due to severe personnel shortages at work and I’m unable to commit a full day at this time.

I will be on vacation the Saturday after Thanksgiving and can plan a class then if there’s enough of a need. Just let me know.

If you need a renewal before then and would liked to recommend an instructor, please send me a message. I know to good ones in the CENLA area (1 in Grant and 1 north of Alexandria).

24 rounds, 1 round per small circle, 2 rounds per large circle. 1 sec penalty per miss. 25 seconds is “par.” 3 yard distance.

The only problem with it is I burned through 200 rounds in less than 20 min.
