For me, the magic of a yoga class has always been at the very end.  After cultivating concentration in my mind and moving and breathing my body, there is a stillness, a connection to Self that arrives quietly and ease-fully at the end of a practice.

A corner of our house that generally stays clear and makes me happy. Can anyone ID for us the big plant we adopted from a campus rental in A2 almost 10 years ago? I think it needs some trimming but I want to read up.

Yoga - A Lifelong Practice

Everytime I teach a class I am reminded why I love yoga. As teachers we get to invite you into a practice of awareness and sensation in our bodies, a homecoming in a way. And as we begin to see ourselves - in shapes, in movement, in breath - we can begin the process of self-acceptance and compassion. Over time, these qualities translate into lives of peace, love, and fortitude. So we practice poses, shapes, and actions in our physical self, but we are really beginning a lifelong inquiry into who we are, how to love, and how to share peace with the world. Join us on your mat (or borrow one of ours!) to begin your lifelong practice.
