Check out our posts for monthly discounts and specials. Treatments are given in a comfortable and quiet room with 4 reclining chairs. We have white noise machines and speak quietly to keep everything restful and maintain an environment free from disruption to your treatment. The clinic is set up this way to maximize our ability to treat many people and keep the cost low; the average cost for acupuncture in the DC area is $140. per visit - we exist for those who (like us) find that pricing, well, a little outrageous! While we do not accept insurance, we can provide you with a receipt suitable for most insurance companies to reimburse you. No referrals are necessary - anyone may come in for acupuncture here! :)

Friends! Verizon is down so I cannot answer your direct texts or calls or buzz you in. The lower side door on the opposite side of the building is open. You can also text me through your appointment reminder texts by replying to them. Here's a pic I took for the algorithm gods :)

I'm so sorry but I have to close again this weekend, I got the flu in RI 😞. Appointment holders will be contacted soon. Bird pic I took up there for the algorithm tax:

Way back in 2009, I was an acupuncture student just starting to see clients under supervision. My first week one of my fellow students, who was ahead of me in student clinic, handed me a book called Acupuncture is Like Noodles. This book was a revelation and made me realize that I didn’t have to give people acupuncture the same way everyone else was. I could make it affordable so I could treat regular working people, and they could get enough acupuncture to actually get better! (Because, that’s how it works! Treatments build on themselves cumulatively!)
I didn’t have to isolate people in tiny rooms on rigid massage tables and limit their time arbitrarily due to needing to flip the room for the next client.
I didn’t have to charge people $100 to make ends meet.
I didn’t have to feel like I was abandoning my working friends, neighbors, and family by putting acupuncture out of reach.
I knew before I was finished reading that book that I would practice community acupuncture. Two years later I opened Revive a mile from my house.
Fast forward to 2018, we are in our 7th year giving people acupuncture in a comfortable, cozy, community clinic in College Park, within the DC metro system (just a few minutes from the College Park station via Calvert Road). I’ve personally administered over 15,000 treatments. New people try it all the time, and my awesome regulars who have been coming in for years keep coming.
Every day I’m still surprised and amazed at how helpful acupuncture can be, and so grateful for the book that changed everything.
I hope you’ll give Revive a try. It’s $20 per visit, you can book online, or via text, or do the old fashioned thing (haha!) and give us a phone call. I look forward to it.
