Wrapping up the last clients of 2024 today... what an amazing year.

This year, I was able to come back into the same treatment space that I had left at the end of 2022, and truly it was as if I never left. This space, my clients, the land and the neighborhood which this space is on and in... they are all deep blessings to me. If the work I put out is as rich of a blessing to others as it is to me, I count myself beyond lucky.

I'm looking forward to 2025 being a year full of the deep blessings of tight knit community - may you be soft and take no 💩

Zero Balancing(ZB) is a powerful body-mind therapy that uses skilled touch to address the relationship between energy and structure within the body.

In this Level 1 course, you will learn:

• A basic treatment protocol that addresses the whole body in 30-45 minutes

• The theory and principles of ZB

• To distinguish body energy and body structure through touch

• The skill of using energy as a working tool

• The energetic anatomy of the skeleton

Dr. Fritz Smith, founder of Zero Balancing, passed away last week. He was a profoundly special person, and I feel interwoven waves of grief and joyful gratitude for his loss and for all he brought into this world.

I wrote a longer tribute to Fritz in my most recent newsletter (hit that bio to read), so I won't type as much here. In short, I believe the world will forever be a better place for having him in it - his impact will ripple out as long as there is a universe to ripple. Certainly, my life is profoundly better for having met him, and learned from him.

Fritz passed just a few days before around 100 of us were to gather for his 95th birthday. Just as the system of Zero Balancing that Fritz created is richly amazing, so is the community that has built up around the practice and the teaching of this work - how special to be able to gather with fellow faculty, practitioners, and mentors to be able to celebrate his passing together.

Happy Spring Equinox/Ostara! In the Chinese calendar, Spring Equinox is the middle of spring, the PEAK of Spring, in fact. As you can see, the flowers seem to agree:)

We harvested Nettle and Lambs Quarters from our garden for breakfast this morning 🌱 Are you harvesting any fresh Spring herbs yet?
