Wondering how you can minimize the germs your kids are exposed to at school (and bring home to you)? There are lots of small things you can teach them to curb the spread of colds, flu, RSV and other fall illnesses:
✅ Teach them to thoroughly wash their hands throughout the day — for 20+ seconds.
✅ Make sure they know not to share drinks or snacks.
✅ Show them how to cough and sneeze into elbows, or into a tissue, instead of their hands or — eww — uncovered.
✅ Keep sick kiddos home to prevent spreading illness to others and getting reinfected.
Plus, if anyone in your family gets sick and doesn’t improve within 48 hours or shows signs of more serious illnesses, visit urgent care to prevent complications and get relief from symptoms. Just walk right into BestMed Urgent Care - College Place!
