✨ 5 Simple Ways to Be More Body Positive ✨
Your body is so much more than what you see in the mirror—it carries you through life every single day. If you’ve ever struggled with body image, try these tips:
1️⃣ Write little things you DO like about yourselves and pop them up on the mirror so you are reminded daily (& having them on your mirror is key as this is where you’re most likely to criticize yourself).
2️⃣ Unfollow / unfriend anybody who makes you feel bad about yourself. Online + offline. Remember you need to love the body you’re in now whilst working on your goals. Your body is literally the driving force to take you to where you want to be! It’s okay to have physique goals and want to change your body, but do it from a place of love + continuous improvement NOT from hate and frustration.
3️⃣ Don’t spend too much time on social media. Instagram is mostly a highlight reel & not always an authentic representation of everyday normal life - it’s highly curated so remember this when comparing your life/ your body to others.
4️⃣ Your uniqueness is your power + beauty! It’s true that we pick ourselves apart and only see our flaws! The people around you are probably admiring the little beautiful things about you which you are completely oblivious too because you’re so obsessed with the insignificant flaws yours obsessing over.
5️⃣ Surround yourself with positive people who lift you up, have your back and bring out the best in you! Being around supportive, like minded people who love you for YOU will boost your vibe and you’ll stop focusing on the negatives & start to see what they can see in you too.
