A space full of possibilities. 🧸

At AAC, every toy has a purpose—whether it’s building communication, encouraging imaginative play, or creating opportunities for connection. By offering a variety of materials, we’re able to meet each child where they are and help skills grow across different environments.

Play here isn’t just play… it’s intentional, meaningful learning.

So many ways to explore, move, and learn. 🚲🚗

At AAC, our outdoor environment is filled with opportunities for movement-based play. Riding bikes, pushing cars, and navigating around peers helps children build gross motor skills, coordination, social interaction, and independence — all while having fun.

Because learning doesn’t just happen at the table… sometimes it starts with a ride around the yard.

Room to move, room to grow!

Our open play space at AAC gives clients the freedom to explore, build gross motor skills, and engage in meaningful play. Whether it’s climbing, sliding, or gathering around the table for activities, every area is designed to create opportunities for learning through movement and interaction.

Because sometimes the best progress happens when kids have the space to be kids.

Fresh sand and more room to run!

We recently upgraded our playground with more sand and expanded space for play, creating even more opportunities for movement, exploration, and fun. Outdoor play isn’t just a break from the day — it’s an important part of development. Running, climbing, digging, and playing together helps build motor skills, social interaction, and regulation.

Generalization in action!

In ABA, learning isn’t complete until a skill can be used across different environments, materials, and situations. Practicing with toy horses during play can help prepare a child to recognize, label, and interact with the real thing.

At AAC, we focus on helping skills transfer beyond a building — because true learning means being able to use those skills in the real world.

At AAC, our environment is intentionally created to support not only learning but emotional development as well. Visual supports like calming strategies, breathing prompts, and mood meters help children learn how to identify their feelings, regulate their emotions, and practice coping skills in real time.

Learning through imagination 🎭✨

Pretend play is more than just fun — it’s a powerful way to build language, social skills, flexibility, and creativity. Whether it’s dressing up, taking on new roles, or creating their own stories, these moments help children practice communication and interaction in a natural and engaging way.

Sunshine, laughter, and a little farm life ☀️🌿

At AAC, therapy doesn’t just happen at a table. It happens outside — climbing, exploring, playing, and experiencing the world around us. On any given day you might see chickens wandering through the yard or even a cow grazing in the background.

These moments aren’t just fun — they create natural opportunities to practice social skills, curiosity, regulation, and real-life learning in an environment that feels safe and engaging.

Our environment is one of our biggest differentiators, because when children get to learn through real experiences, growth becomes meaningful and lasting.
