He is one of College Station’s most renown and experienced Obstetricians, and has delivered several thousand babies in the last few years of his dedicated career in Florida and Texas. Dr. David Meduna is an award winning laparoscopic surgeon, and one of the pioneers of Robotic Surgery in Texas. He was the first Robotic Surgeon in College Station to complete his Robotic Surgery Training while still in his residency program. Recruited specifically to advance the Robotic Surgery program in College Station, Dr. Meduna has been a key player in converting traditional “straight-stick” laparoscopic surgery to minimally invasive Robotic Gynecologic Surgery. Doctor Meduna graduated from Texas A&M class of ‘99 with a Degree in Biomedical Sciences. He then spent four years at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio for medical school, and four more years at the Florida State University School of Medicine for his residency program. Dr. Meduna and his wife Roberta dreamed of returning to College Station and making it their home and that dream became reality in 2007. Dr. David Meduna also provides obstetrical care at the ABC Women’s Clinic in College Station and is also a Clinical Professor for the Texas A&M University School of Medicine. Dr. Meduna is also a Chairman on the Maternal/Perinatal Child Care Committee and is the Vice Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the College Station Medical Center.
