I went to Spain thinking I’d document gluten- and dairy-free food options along the Camino de Santiago. What I found instead was something quieter, simpler, and far more nourishing.

Whew! is in the rearview mirror! Ours was an unforgettable feast and lovely visit with family and friends. We roasted a mouthwatering 22lbs organic turkey!! I tested Katerina's recipe for a decadent gluten-free chocolate cake (her book is serious y'all -- it's beautiful, amazing, and ideal for allergy aware bakers with experience). And my all-time FAVORITE creative use for leftover gluten-free dressing --waffles!! Yes, for breakfast. I hope your holiday table was full of flavor and health! Ok, I'll get to work on my Spring2026 cooking class and workshop calendar now! PS if you've not downloaded our new recipe app, SmartBites (cooking), it's available for Android and Apple now! We'd love your feedback as we continue Beta testing!

We were away for 4 weeks in Spain and Portugal - several times Kelly mentioned we should leave the ‘girls’ some eggs just to see if they can raise some chicks… we get home and look who we found! 🐥 🥰🤩 so far we only see one chick, she definitey looks like her Papa! And see how he’s protective of her!!
