Bump to Baby Midwifery

(I know, not exactly the introduction you were expecting.) Over the years, I had 3 children of my own. I taught my children that they can do anything they want to and that they should go pursue anything that fills their soul. Being a parent, and teaching my children made me realize that I needed not to just tell them, but to show them these lessons. Deep down, I always thought how amazing it would

be to get to deliver babies. So in 2019, I got certified as a doula. But, the more births I attended; the more I felt called to deliver babies. I started researching midwifery and I even applied to school. I found out the classes were full, and I was devastated. But then, the school contacted me and told me that they had opened additional spots and wanted to offer me a placement. At this moment, I knew this was exactly where I was supposed to be. I trained for three years with three different preceptors. During this time, I worked in traditional homebirth settings as well as in a birthing center and I supported over 200 families. Three years later, I became a Certified Professional Midwife. As a midwife, my goal is to create a space for ANYONE who wants to explore homebirth. There are no standards, or lifestyle needed to pursue homebirth. Midwifery and homebirth can be for anyone that wants to take their pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum into their own hands with a close support system. When we work together, you can expect me to be available to educate, encourage, and help you achieve your birth goals. During our time together, you will have a person in your corner, cheering you on, and holding a happy healthy space during this exciting time while ensuring both you and your baby are healthy. I am eager to meet you, and determine if we are a great match to fulfill this adventure!
