Jessica, you are a constant ray of light even on the darkest days🌞. When we are all feeling exhausted you burst in with energy and smiles. You will help any one at any time. You are incredible. We are so lucky to have you on our team.

Mary, you are meant for this. Your patience, kindness and gentle nature is beautiful to watch. The residents adore you. We all adore you! 🌸

Frank, your talent is unmatched! 🎨 You give our residents what other places cannot! And beyond that your friendly and calm presence is so important to our residents. You are a huge reason for their happiness!

Sheila!! You are such a sweetheart. And another team member that offers talents that other communities can’t! 🧘‍♀️ You are constantly thinking of us and how to do and bring in other fun things! You have such a big heart.

Jim, our serenading driver. Always willing to help out. And seriously that voice… 🏆 You are generous, sweet, and have jokes for days!

❄️ Not sure if you heard.. but there may be snow this weekend 😳 I’m sure many of you have thought of your loved ones and what we do here at Morningside House to make sure they have everything they need.

The first questions we hear are about staffing. Well let me give our team a huge shout out! 🏆 We have filled out all our available space with staff to sleepover so that they can remain safe and not have to worry about travel conditions. The only interruption this will cause for our residents is that we may need to use the theater as a staff space just due to lack of available apartments.

We are equipped with a generator in case we lose power. I have been in contact with Upper Providence Township’s Emergency Plan Manager. They have an emergency line open this weekend in case we need them immediately. We are so lucky to have such an incredible emergency response team in our community! Thank you Dan for your time yesterday! 🙏🏻

Our snow removal company is ready to roll to keep our lot clear. Priority will be making sure emergency vehicles can get to our building if needed.

In the event that something happened that residents were not able to stay in our building, in any emergency, our 3 sister communities will welcome our residents until we would be able to return.

Today we had the privilege of delivering bags filled with toiletries, snacks, and blankets to the RHD Montgomery County Homeless Services. Natalie was incredibly welcoming, and we’re excited to build and strengthen a lasting partnership with them. A huge thank you to Jess, our amazing Life Enrichment Director, for leading this initiative, along with our residents, and students from Holy Cross Catholic School. It’s always meaningful to give back on MLK day, but this is just the beginning-stay tuned for more impactful projects we have in the works!
