but more importantly, we give children the chance to experience it.

Because when children have the space to explore, get messy, wonder, and connect…
they don’t just learn about nature — they begin to care about it.

And that’s where it all starts.

Last week’s Roots & Shoots 🌱
From building plants together to getting hands in the soil, our explorers experienced how roots grow down and shoots grow up.

We then headed out on a hike through the woods, ending with a game of hide and seek among the trees 🌱

Wednesday’s Bunnies & Spring Play pop-up was special 🐰🌱

It felt so peaceful, wholesome, and just really fun, watching the kids explore, play, and interact with each other and the animals. There was a real sense of connection and community throughout the morning.

Special thank you to CW Pet Parties for being a wonderful part of the day 🤍

So grateful for everyone who came and for the continued growth of Rooted in Function 🌱

Today was so special 🐰🌱

I’m so incredibly grateful to have had CW Pet Parties join us for this event. Emily and her children brought such a calm, kind, and joyful presence. They were so engaging, knowledgeable, and truly made the animal experience something meaningful for the kids (and adults too).

Thank you for sharing your animals and your energy with our community — we absolutely loved having you 🤍

And to all of the families who came — thank you!! It meant so much to see everyone exploring, creating, connecting, and fully embracing the experience. Days like today are exactly why I started Rooted Explorers.

I’m feeling so grateful and will definitely be reflecting more tomorrow after some much needed rest 🌱
