Silicone Expo USA 2025 is being held Sept. 9-11 in Cleveland, OH. 14ELMT attended the first few conferences of The Silicone Expo USA in Detroit, and our commitment was so deep that Mariya dedicated several years to serving on the advisory board. This conference brings together global players representing the entire silicone supply chain. It is a great place to see what innovations are happening in the world of silicone. While we are unable to attend this year, we highly recommend those in O&P fabrication attend.

This prosthesis was fabricated for a welder. His prostheses needed to accommodate a welding gauntlet to protect him and his prosthesis from 'weld spatter' - the droplets of molten metal that are thrown off during the welding process. A custom prosthesis ensured that the gauntlet would fit perfectly, with the bonus of having it all color-coordinated. It's fire. 🔥
