This 14ELMT custom transradial (TR), myoelectric prosthesis features a patriotic US flag motif wrap over a carbon fiber frame and is paired with a custom white silicone socket and the BeBionic hand (from Ottobock ). The prosthesis utilizes the COAPT Myo Pattern Recognition system, with the interior view showing the dome sensors for the system.

Fabrication is critical for myoelectric devices, where precision, attention to detail, and experience matter. 14ELMT has extensive fabrication experience with the COAPT system. The best endorsement of our skill was COAPT having us fabricate their own demos!

Today, on Memorial Day, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

At our facility, this day holds special meaning. We are proud to work alongside and serve members of the military community, including veterans and servicemen within our own team. Their strength, sacrifice, and commitment continue to inspire the work we do every day.

This is not a day for promotion, but for remembrance, gratitude, and reflection. We honor those we have lost, and we stand with the families, veterans, and service members who carry their legacy forward.

This patient suffered a traumatic partial hand injury. Following multiple revision surgeries, he developed extensive scarring and hypersensitivity, which left him unable to bear weight on the affected limb or exercise as he had before his injury. The solution was a custom, dual-shore (HCR & RTV silicones) push-in style socket with distal padding to provide cushioning and support during activity.

The result - "I have been pain-free since being fit with my custom 14ELMT silicone socket."

This custom 14ELMT transradial (below-elbow), activity-specific prosthesis combines performance and style. It features a black silicone liner with ELASTO-fit panels to accommodate muscular volume changes, a polished silicone exterior for easier donning and doffing, and a “red swirl” graphic vinyl wrap over a carbon fiber frame.

It is fitted with the Fillauer Black Iron Lite Pivot, a specialized terminal device that lets the user connect to weights or cable machines for gym workouts.

The result is an activity-specific prosthesis that is locked and loaded… with style.
