πŸŽ‰ Help us congratulate our co-owner, Lydia, on her major career achievement of obtaining her board certification through the American Board of Swallowing and Swallowing Disorders (ABSSD). A Board Certified Swallowing Specialist (BCS-S) remains current in research in the field of swallowing and swallowing disorders and provides comprehensive, evidence-based assessment and treatment. This certification is a rigorous 3-5 year process and is the highest certification available for clinicians treating dysphagia. Lydia is one of four board certified specialists in the state of Tennessee and the only board certified specialist in West TN. We are so proud of Lydia here at BCSLP and wish her continued success with her current and future clients! πŸŽ‰
