It was a pleasure being able to spend the morning with the students of E.O. Coffman middle school of Lawrenceburg today helping teach them the importance of handshakes and eye contact, for their "Workforce Wednesday" program. We also got to share about Unity Hospice Care and the skills we look for when hiring employees in the Healthcare field such as compassion, reliability, honesty, teamwork etc! Had a fantastic day hosting Bingo for Lawrence Co Senior Center today with their lovely senior crowd and directors Stephanie and Helen. They celebrated National Cherry Cheesecake day with cherry themed food prizes and a special presentation from LawCo Sheriff's, Chief Deputy George Barturen informing our seniors of the top 10 scams targeting our senior citizens, he provided excellent info, which I've attached here, great things to be aware of! Thanks Chief for helping to protect our elderly!

Had a great morning hosting Bingo for the seniors at the Waynesboro Senior Center, they're always such a hospitable crowd, and their director, Terrah Hinton is top-notch, she always has fun including her folks with a good theme and party, and today she didn't disappoint providing them with "Moon-pies" to help celebrate today's Solar Eclipse! And she was kind enough to share some of their shades with, pictured Macy Hayes LPN, and myself Samantha Reynolds Volunteer Coordinator both of Unitys Lawrenceburg office, so that we could join in on the fun also! Thanks Waynesboro for your generosity!!🌒 😎

Wishing all of our collective communities a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from Unity Hospice Care! Thank you for allowing us to serve you, our patients and your families as well! And a special thanks to all of our volunteers that visit and make sure to deliver goodies! Praying that each of you spend some quality family time this week and have a blessed 2024 to come!

HUGE shoutout to our volunteer in Savannah Julie Linville for providing Christmas trees for some of our patients. This was such a thoughtful idea. We are lucky and thankful to have volunteers like her!
