Adding “builds sensory room structures” to my resume skillset 😜 This long awaited structure is finally here and fully functional! Thanks to for ensuring this bad boy was tightened and stable for use! Our kiddos (and therapists) are loving all the jumping, swinging, climbing, monkey bar and zip lining that this is allowing us to do in our sessions! Shout out to and for lending me a hand and ladder! ☺️

My ride or die Valentines! When the delivery guy drops off a 12 foot package on the sidewalk and you have 45 mins to get it inside the building (because ) Miss Kerry and Miss Bridget and their husbands dropped everything to make it happen! I truly love these ladies! The swingset is FINALLY here!!
And, if you’re wondering why there are scooter boards in the background, Miss Kerry in true OT fashion was thinking outside the box to deliver our box aboard scooter boards 🤣🤣🤣🤣

BIG NEWS! mOTivated kids LLC & Eat Play Learn LLC are moving just around the corner on Haddon Ave to the 900 Building. As of November 4th, sessions will begin in our new location. This will be a big change for our families and kiddos but we are hopeful that our new space will offer more opportunities for supporting you!

Today, our paint colors were NOT red, blue, yellow and green. Instead, they were Elmo, Cookie Monster, Big Bird, and Oscar the Grouch (he loves trash). Because when they were red, blue, yellow and green, my little buddy was NOT interested. But when they were Elmo, Cookie Monster, Big Bird, and Oscar the Grouch (he loves trash), my buddy jumped right in with a smile on his face! Always remember your child’s special interests, especially when introducing new activities and learning. Special Interests create windows of opportunity for meaningful participation and moments of joy just like these (check out that smile in the last pic). ❤️

Also, if you love a gestalt language processor, you will understand why (he loves trash) needs to follow Oscar the grouch 😜

Learn how to confidently address your child’s picky eating habits during and outside of meal time with Miss Kerry, our feeding expert and pediatric occupational therapist who will teach you how to introduce new foods into mealtime using sensory strategies, play techniques, and more!

POST #3: WHAT WE'VE BEEN UP TO:

Our Team grew! Meet Miss Bridget! Miss Bridget joined our team in November 2023 and brings so much positive energy and drive to her sessions. She has a wonderful way of incorporating kid's interests into therapeutic activities to make working on the hard stuff, fun! Miss Bridget can often be spotted with a bag full of books which is a testament to how much she loves to learn, and how passionate and dedicated she is about providing families with the highest quality of services and education as possible!

Bridget received her Master's degree in occupational therapy from Thomas Jefferson University and has been working exclusively in pediatrics ever since. She has a wealth of experience in the birth-5 population and has worked with diverse groups of children and families from varying backgrounds which has allowed her to master creating individual services and strategies for home to meet each families specific needs.

When she is not at work, Miss Bridget loves to be surrounded by family and close friends, taking her dogs on a long walk, moving her body doing any form of exercise, and sharing good food with loved ones.

Our Team grew! Meet Miss Kerry! Miss Kerry joined our team in May 2022 and has been bringing creative interventions and thoughtful approaches to our families ever since! She always makes sure our kiddos are having a blast in therapy whether being silly in play to make them laugh or crawling on the floor to join them in the fun!

Kerry brings a wealth of knowledge to mOTivated kids with training in sensory integration, reflex integration, SOS feeding approach, NDT, and casting and splinting of the upper extremity. She is certified in Physical Agent Modalities (PAMS) in the state of NJ.

Kerry received her undergraduate degree from Penn State University and her Master's in Occupational Therapy from Sacred Heart University.

When she is not working, you might see Kerry around town to all of the fun events with her husband, daughter, and dog, Mac or dining at any of the delicious restaurants on Haddon Ave.!

We are always so amazed by who spearheaded this event, and her passion for creating opportunities for inclusion, and for raising awareness about neurodiversity! Why hello there!
You may have noticed we have been pretty quiet on social media this past year. We’ve been busy behind the scenes, working on building our support team, because let’s be honest, returning from maternity leave to run a practice while caring for two littles (with very different needs) should not be the job of just one person!

Stay tuned to hear about what we have been up to this past year, but just didn’t get a chance to share yet!
