🎅✨ Join us for a special holiday tradition! The Borough of Collingswood is excited to announce the return of Sensory Santa, now in its fourth year!

Partnering with Upcycle Fitness, Eat Play Learn LLC, Motivated kids, and SLK Partners, we’re bringing a sensory-friendly Santa experience to children and adults of all ages in a calm, comfortable setting designed for individuals with special needs or disabilities.

Due to high demand, we're excited to expand this year with two dates at Upcycle Fitness (716 Haddon Ave):
-Sunday, December 1 | 1 PM – 6 PM
-Sunday, December 8 | 9 AM – 1 PM

⏰ Appointments are in 15-minute intervals, with each slot allowing three families to visit. Only one reservation is needed per group, so gather the whole family for a magical, stress-free Santa moment!

🚨 The sign-up link will be posted in the event (Collingswood Sensory Santa 2024 ) on Monday, November 11 at 10 AM! Set a reminder—slots fill up fast!

Attention Toddler Moms, Stay-at-home Moms, Work-from-home Moms, Work-two-days-a week Moms- whatever you choose to be!

Do you want 45 minutes a week to drop your kid off in a safe environment, fun to play with their peers? (Where you don't have to be in charge of the fun, but your child is learning- guilt free).

We are now offering a Wednesday morning Toddler Language Play Group and have a few spots left to fill!
(10:00 AM, 6 weeks, package fee)

If your child is 2 to three years old and you'd like to get them more engaged with kids their age, try new things, learn independence, and enhance their language and vocabulary- we've got you!

I got a chance to take yoga this morning and of course, it got me thinking about our mouths and our tongues 👅 When a position or move got challenging, I found myself clenching or holding my breath. We all do it. Our kids do it too, especially when we co-treat and something is hard. So, I tried to use what I teach. Once I changed my breathing and stuck my tongue to the roof of my mouth (forcing nasal breathing)- each hold got easier! It grounded me. I used my body and my breath in a new way. So here’s my message for all of us (yogis, moms, kids, therapists)- think about where you place your tongue when something is hard! Think about how you are breathing. 😮‍💨 Did it help? Does your tongue reach the roof of your mouth? Can you nasal breathe?

Learn how to confidently address your child’s picky eating habits during and outside of meal time with Miss Kerry, our feeding expert and pediatric occupational therapist who will teach you how to introduce new foods into mealtime using sensory strategies, play techniques, and more!

BONUS: All participants will have the option to purchase an in-home, one-on-one feeding session at a discounted rate after completing the group!
