🏈 Friday Tailgate Fun at Covington Ridge! 🏈
We kicked off the weekend with team spirit, football toss, and plenty of game day snacks! Our residents and staff had a blast cheering on their favorite teams — complete with queso dip, cookie cake, and lots of laughter. 💙💛
There’s nothing better than good food, good friends, and a little friendly competition!

🎨 Pumpkin Patch Paint Party! 🎃
Our residents had a wonderful time bringing a little fall color to their canvases today! From bright orange pumpkins to curly green vines, everyone added their own creative touch — and the smiles were just as colorful as the paintings. 🍂🖌️A huge thank you to our amazing team for helping make art time so much fun!

We’re honored to host our second annual three-part Dementia Care Training Series presented by Senior Helpers here at Covington Ridge Retirement Community! 💜

✨ Upcoming Sessions:

• Nov. 13th: Virtual Dementia Tour presented by Gerry Richards of Bedford Care

This educational series is a wonderful resource for families, caregivers, and community members who want to better understand dementia and support their loved ones. 💜

Residents crafted glowing castle jars, enjoyed sweet Disney treats, and shared hugs, dances & smiles with Mickey himself. 🐭❤️

A huge THANK YOU to our amazing staff for all the love, creativity, and hard work they poured into making this week unforgettable for our residents. From crafts and games to themed snacks and celebrations, you truly brought joy and smiles every single day. 🌟

Day 4 of Assisted Living Week had all the cards, costumes, prizes, and incredible music! Thank you Traces of Blue from Sumrall High School! 🎶 Our residents hit the jackpot on fun and memories today! ♥️♣️♠️♦️

⛺🌲 Day 3 of Assisted Living Week: Going Camping! 🌲⛺

Our residents grabbed their flannel, fishing poles, and camp spirit for a day of outdoor adventure hosted by Accent Care right here at Covington Ridge! 🎣✨

We set up tents, roasted marshmallows by the “campfire,” and even did a little fishing along the way. 🚧 With signs warning of deer and bear crossings, it really felt like the great outdoors had moved indoors. 🐻🦌

Of course, no camping trip is complete without s’mores! 🍫🔥 Residents enjoyed making sweet treats, sipping from their new water bottles, and sharing plenty of stories and laughter around the fire. 💛

What a joy to see everyone smiling, laughing, and making memories together….no mosquito spray required! 🪵🔥
