Hey!
This is Alex’s wife Anna. Don’t panic, he’s alive but I’ve got a long story to tell you!
Sorry for just now coming on to let everyone know what’s been going on, but I just haven’t had the mental capacity to announce this yet.
The past month has been filled with ups and downs and hope and fear and sleepless nights and confusion…it’s just been a lot!
I’ve written the full story so far on the gofundme. If you just want the cliff notes Alex has been in ICU since Boxing Day.
He had flu, double pneumonia, sepsis and a collapsed lung. Oh, and his kidneys were not functioning for a while, but that’s improved with dialysis!
He’s had a tracheotomy and currently just getting strength back to write.
He had a cold for 3 days and the *BAM* arghhj
I will post updates once a week or if anything fabulous happens I’ll post on here.
