Rep. Melissa Provenzano recently shared her personal journey with breast cancer, a diagnosis that came just two months after her mother’s cancer returned. Through it all, she has shown incredible resilience, turning her own experience into meaningful policy change.

With the support of Dr. Chad Johnson at Saint Francis Health System, Melissa not only continued her fight, but also pushed for legislation improving insurance coverage for diagnostic mammograms and breast MRIs, especially for women with dense breast tissue.

🚨 Chest Pain: Don’t Ignore the Signs 🚨

Not all chest pain is the same — but it should always be taken seriously.

💔 It could be heart-related (heart attack, angina)
💨 It could be lung-related (blood clot, pneumonia)
💢 It could even come from your stomach or muscles
👉 Call 911 right away if you experience:

• Sudden, severe chest pain or pressure
• Pain spreading to your arm, neck, jaw, or back
• Shortness of breath, sweating, or nausea
• Lightheadedness or fainting

Your heart can’t wait. If in doubt, call 911 — it’s always better to be safe. ❤️
