Discover Sacred Beauty at Holy Cross Cemetery & Mausoleum
A new chapter in sacred art has opened inside the Open-Air Mausoleum of the Holy Spirit in North Arlington, NJ.

Created in 2024 by internationally renowned artists Alexander and Daniela Mandradjiev of Alexander Studio, this radiant collection of nine mosaics—the Dove, Flame, Light, Water, Wind, Lamp, Hands, Clouds, and Oil—transforms the mausoleum into a space of prayer, reflection, and light.

“Each mosaic is more than an image—it is a prayer in color and light.”

Today, we are excited to announce the grand opening of our new cemetery office at Saint Gertrude Cemetery and Mausoleum in Colonia, New Jersey.

The original cemetery office, affectionately known as "the farmhouse", is the site of Middlesex county's first-ever Catholic Mass. While the old office is closed, Catholic Cemeteries is evaluating potential plans for the historical structure.

All visitors are asked to visit the new office for at-need, pre-need or other cemetery services. No appointment will be necessary.

The new office features a more spacious and comfortable reception area, high-efficiency heating and cooling system, cathedral-styled ceiling, modern customer service stations, and beautiful stained glass windows featuring the Holy Family, restrooms for men and women, and more.
