Today was the final day of the Youth Conservation Corps summer program. Teens worked for three weeks with park staff at Pocahontas State Park. They completed projects planned by park staff that would benefit visitors to the park. Projects like a new volleyball court, improving shelter 3, painting and much more. Teens receive a $750 stipend at the end. Today family, friends, leaders, youth and park staff celebrated and recognized each teen for their accomplishments. Congratulations, you did it!
