To you, it might just be a massage table.
But to me, it’s so much more than that.

This is a wooden-legged Oakworks—the very same kind I chose back in massage school. I carried it with me as a symbol of the future I was building.

After my injury, I had to raise funds and ended up selling that table before I ever got to truly work on her… at least not as part of SoCo Massage.

Just a few days ago, I realized it was time for an upgrade. I thought, “Wouldn’t it be something if I could find that same Oakworks again… maybe even in purple?”
I searched Marketplace—nothing.

The next day? This beauty popped up: wooden legs, purple, brand new, extra wide, extra cushion.

I couldn’t believe it.
I reached out right away and connected with a therapist who I believe has since retired.

You have no idea how full-circle this moment feels. 🥲

Meet Kathy — Founder of SoCo Massage Therapy

My journey into massage therapy wasn’t just a career choice—it was a healing path. From volunteering with seniors in Florida to working alongside Craniosacral and halotherapy practitioners, I built a foundation rooted in compassion and curiosity.

After founding my first practice in 2018, a serious injury and the pandemic forced me to pause—but also deepened my understanding of healing. I came back stronger, more grounded, and even more connected to the power of touch.

Today, I bring 7 years of experience, intuition, and resilience into every session. SoCo Massage Therapy is more than a service—it’s a space to reconnect with your body, find relief, and trust the process of healing.
