✨ Today is National Grief Awareness Day

Grief is not something that we simply “get over.” It changes us. It reshapes how we move through the world, how we see life, and how we love.

As a widow, I know firsthand how deeply grief can impair you — mentally, emotionally, and physically. There were days I didn’t know how I would keep going, and times when the weight felt too heavy to carry alone.

Grief is also not just about the loss of a loved one. It is the loss of anything that's been taken away from you. Job, marriage, home, etc.

That’s why I am so passionate about holding space for others. No one should ever have to grieve in silence or isolation. Grief deserves compassion, connection, and community. It’s the reason I run grief groups today — to create a place where hearts can be held, stories can be shared, and healing can begin. I believe everyobe has a right to grieve, no matter the circumstance, and no one should have to grieve alone.💜

If you are grieving, please know you are not alone. Reach out, connect, and allow yourself to be supported. Together, we can carry the weight of grief with love.
