🌈 April is Autism Awareness Month; and at Atlas, we believe it’s also about Autism Acceptance.

Awareness is important, but acceptance is what creates real change. It’s about understanding, respecting, and embracing each child and adult for who they are, not trying to change them into someone else.

We celebrate neurodiversity by creating spaces where our kids can feel happy, relaxed, and engaged, just as they are. 💛

At Atlas, we don’t aim to stop stimming or change who a child is. Stimming is often a way kids regulate, express, and feel good in their bodies.

Our role is to understand it, respect it, and teach when and where different behaviors are appropriate, without taking away what helps them feel safe and supported.

We’re so excited to share that Atlas is now a QMAP Approved Training Entity (ATE) in the state of Colorado! 🎉

We are now able to support individuals and teams in becoming educated and certified to safely administer medications. Expanding our services in this way allows us to better support the children we serve and continue providing thoughtful, comprehensive care.

We’re so proud to continue growing in ways that allow us to show up even more fully for our families. 💛

We’ve been having so much fun at Atlas lately 🍀🌱

Between Spirit Week, St. Patty’s Day, and welcoming spring, our days have been filled with scavenger hunts, planting seeds, sensory play, and so many moments of learning and growth.

We love creating opportunities for our kids to explore, try new things, and build confidence all while having fun along the way. Watching them learn, connect, and grow in their own unique ways is what it’s all about. 💛
