Turning my pain into strength, helping you find your path.
My name is LeeAnn Montour, and I know the burden of growing up in chaos and the struggle to express deep pain. My childhood was marked by violence, addiction, and abuse, leading to my own battles with co***ne and m**h. In 2012, I fought for custody of my children and have been sober from m**h for 13 years.
Life threw more challenges my way. In 2019, I nearly lost my life during an emergency C-section, and a lung nodule led to surgery in 2020. In 2022, I faced immense grief when my godson and nephew died by su***de, followed by my eldest daughterโs attempt. I chose to leave my job to support her.
By the end of that year, I escaped an abusive marriage, but grief and exhaustion caused a relapse in 2023. I reached out to my family, acknowledged my struggles, and began rebuilding my life. Later that year, I was diagnosed with stage 4 neuroendocrine cancer that had spread to my liver and lymph nodes.
Through these trials, I learned that helping others is key to my healing. My children and loved ones have saved me countless times. Now, as a recovery coach, I support individuals without judgment, helping them see their own light. Your story isnโt overโand recovery is always possible.
I chose Sparkle because I was ready for a significant transformation in my life. Her dedication to the recovery community profoundly inspired me and resonated with my own experiences. Through her courses, I gained invaluable knowledge about the essence of the recovery world and uncovered a strong desire to contribute to it. My aspiration is to be at the forefront of this community and raising awareness, providing support, and helping to cultivate a safe and welcoming environment for those navigating addiction.
