What an incredible night at the Purple Mountain Recovery Event Center!

We were honored to host our very first drag show fundraiser — and it was everything we hoped it would be: community, creativity, laughter, connection, and support for a great cause. Seeing people come together in a safe and affirming space reminds us exactly why we do this work.

A huge thank you to all of the performers, organizers, volunteers, and attendees who made the evening such a success. The energy in the room was unforgettable, and this is only the beginning.

At Purple Mountain Recovery, we believe recovery spaces should also be spaces for joy, authenticity, and community celebration. We are excited to continue bringing inclusive events like this to Colorado and creating opportunities for people to connect beyond treatment and recovery services. Finnigan Hawkins thank you so much for setting this night up and we can not wait for the many more to come! Shout out to Zaddii Merkurii DeVine for all the photography of the night!

Purple Mountain Recovery had the opportunity to attend a Business After Hours networking event with the Colorado Springs Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and it was an incredible space to connect with other leaders, business owners, and community partners.

Being in rooms like this matters. Real change in behavioral health doesn’t happen in isolation—it happens through relationships, collaboration, and showing up consistently in the communities we serve.

We’re especially grateful for spaces that uplift and support Hispanic-owned businesses and leaders, and we’re committed to continuing to build partnerships that reflect the diversity of the people we serve.

If we connected last night, we’re looking forward to continuing the conversation. And if not—let’s fix that.

Purple Mountain Recovery attended the monthly meeting with the Colorado Professional Liaison Association, and it was another reminder of how important it is to stay engaged in the conversations shaping our field.

CO-PLA brings together professionals across behavioral health to collaborate, share resources, and strengthen referral relationships so individuals and families can access the care they need .

This month’s discussion highlighted how critical it is to stay informed on evolving standards, ethics, and inclusive practices—because the way we show up as providers directly impacts client outcomes and trust in our systems.

At Purple Mountain Recovery, we don’t just want to be part of the network—we want to actively contribute to raising the standard of care across Colorado.

Grateful to be in rooms with professionals who are committed to doing this work the right way.

Purple Mountain Recovery had the opportunity to tour Resada Addiction Treatment Center and spend time learning more about the work they’re doing to support individuals in recovery.

It’s always powerful to step into another organization’s space and see the different approaches being used to meet people where they are. Collaboration like this matters—because no single program can meet every need, but strong partnerships can.

At Purple Mountain Recovery, we’re intentional about building relationships with providers across Colorado so we can connect our clients to the right level of care at the right time.

Thank you to the Resada team for the warm welcome and for the work you’re doing in this field. We look forward to staying connected and continuing to build pathways that actually support long-term recovery.

With 7 years of Peer Support experience, Tiffany has developed a strong background, serving as a peer, COPA board member, and trainer in intimate partner violence, promoting holistic healing methods.
