The last two weeks I did, saw, and ATE a lot of things. In all honesty, it’s the first time in three years I didn’t follow any kind of carb counting, macro counting, or any other diet style plan.
To be clear, following my DNA is not difficult. But one of the things I was most excited about on this trip was the FOOD, and I rationalized this passion by walking 20,000 to 27,000 steps a day. Also, following the DNA report is a bit harder when three of the countries visited weren’t English speaking…
I felt the effects before the end of week two. Lethargic, bloated, grumpy—all of it. Coming back home has reinspired me to be more dedicated to my DNA Lifestyle not because of weight (I only gained 1 pound while away), but because of how I want to both feel and look!
Starting tomorrow’s, I’m doing another 30 day Detox and the 30 day challenge below.
So excited to get started!
