Today on the Mayan Cholq-ij Calendar is 7Tijax ( Tee-hash). There are 13 numbers together with 20 Nawals, interacting over the year to show the changing energies of the day.
7 Tijax is excellent for completing - healing, projects, relationships...it is also great for cutting subtle cords that steal energy that bind us together unnaturally.
You can do a ceremony to help with these actions, as well as journey to the Lower World and ask the Council of Wise Ones to break that cord for you.

Earth Day 2026
Paper plates once grew as trees-
Alive & wise in their ways.
Now they feed mountains of landfills.

Oil, once ancient plant & animal bodies
Transformed within the earth-
Now Fueling wars, plastic & pollution of air, water & soil.

The shadows of convenience darken our modern lives.

Takers break nature’s plan
Leaving abandoned mines, monoculture deserts, & polluted waters.
These are the seeds of our diseases.
How can we escape?
How do we listen to the guidance of nature?

Leavers left nature’s plan intact
Weaving their lives within it.
They harvested only what was needed
And asked prey to offer themselves for the hunt.
These seeds grew a balanced life
in tune with the songs all of creation sings.
How can we hear this song again?
