When facing a cancer diagnosis, the right care makes all the difference. At Holy Cross Hospital - Jordan Valley Cancer Center, we're committed to providing not just treatment but a robust support system built on expertise, advanced care technology, and unwavering compassion.

Consider the journey of individuals like Bruce Strong, whose prostate cancer was confirmed through an elevated PSA during an annual exam. For localized and effective treatment, we employed Brachytherapy, a technique that places radioactive material directly inside the prostate. This method is exceptionally effective at controlling the local recurrence of the tumor.

Then there's Vicki Pentz, a brain cancer patient whose previous experience with her husband's illness could have defined her. Instead, upon her diagnosis of two brain tumors, she embraced action. Where surgical removal of brain tumors carries the risk of leaving tissue behind, GammaTile Therapy provides an effective and more targeted radiation treatment to the tumor cavity to help prevent regrowth.

We’re thrilled to celebrate the generous support from the CommonSpirit Health Mountain Foundation and Rural Health and Virtual Care teams for acquiring seven brand-new, state-of-the-art telemedicine machines. These machines will soon be deployed to small rural hospitals across Colorado and Kansas, bringing specialist and subspecialist care, such as tele-stroke and cardiology, directly to communities that don't always have this on-site expertise.
