My sessions with Amber are always SO magical and moving✨

I’d only sung in front of maybe 5 people in my whole life, so sharing this is super vulnerable for me in a a fun NEW way. Being invited to sing along with her was one of the most powerful things I’ve experienced during a massage with a client. You can’t see it, but I had goosebumps all over, and was buzzing.

It felt like such a sacred moment between us and Spirit. I’m so grateful for my clients for helping me grow and push my own limits during a session.

Take it from me, you can’t fix people. I’ve tried several times, in several different ways. It comes from a good place, but it’s harmful.

All we have to do is hold space and accept people for where they are at. A question I ask myself during sessions is “am I pushing for a result?” That keeps me in check✅

I love love love this isometric for the psoas🤤

There’s so much controversy over whether we should be trying to work directly on the psoas. I’ve had instructors say that it’s fine. I’ve had someone literally say “you’re stupid if you try to palpate the psoas” SO😅

I typically don’t try to work on the psoas itself because of all the organs and arteries it sits on/around, but I will work the iliacus right inside the hip crest.

Either way, this is such a good, noninvasive option if your client is experiencing low back, hip, knee, and jaw pain.

This upcoming year, we will be switching up a lot of things! We have a new service in another suite in the building, new office goodies, and we will be changing our pricing structure.

NO MORE TIPPING.

With that, I am well aware that this is going to be a significant, and maybe an uncomfortable jump for some of my clients. If that is you, please reach out. I am happy to accommodate and meet in the middle. Seriously, reach out. There’s a handful of clients I will be speaking to about this change as it will not apply to you.

I’ve been saying for years that I wish massage and bodywork wasn’t part of the tripping culture. You gotta be the change you want to see right? As much as I would love to never raise my prices, inflation, continuing education, office supplies, and our time say otherwise. And we’re worth it.✨

Cranio, head and face, and Thai massage pricing are still being discussed. Appointments that have already been scheduled into the new year, I will honor at our current pricing.

This is a really gentle modality and is truly beneficial for any body, especially if you are new to massage.

She’s such a skilled therapist and you should definitely get on her books asap! And look at her! She’s such a cutie patootie!

I’m lucky to have her and share the space with her. I know you will all feel how wonderful her energy is as soon as you step in the space.✨
