Hey everyone! Apologies for being a little MIA the last two weeks. I’m back and not stoked about how hot it is, but we’re making due. Let’s talk about cupping!
Maybe you’ve noticed I have two different sets of cups. The silicone ones on the low back, and the harder plastic, blue tipped ones on my clients shoulder.
Those are magnetic cups! The little blue piece in there is actually a magnet. The set comes with positive and negatively charged magnets which you can take out if you choose and go about cupping like normal.
The benefits to bio magnetic cupping are really neat! Depending on how you arrange the cups, you can assist in bringing muscle fibers closer together, you can create or reduce inflammation/irritation to an area, and many many more!
In this case specifically, my client has a pretty interesting spot beside her scapula that we’ve been working on calming down, so we use negative charged cups in this spot.
I do NOT use these cups when clients have hardware. The magnets aren’t that strong, but better safe than sorry!
