Our Story
My name is Stacy Dobbs, I am the owner and operator of Three Trees Health and Wellness, LLC. I love Yoga because it has helped me to enjoy life again after the most unimaginable tragedy I have ever faced. My husband and I lost our only son, Elan, to cancer. Elan was just under a year old, a baby. He had just a short glimpse of this world and then he was gone. I had just a short glimpse of the most intense love I have ever known before it was ripped away from me. In order to honor my son’s life I made a promise that I would not drown myself in the depths of my own sorrow. Soon after this tragedy, I retreated to the secluded Jungle of Costa Rica to find some solace. There, amidst the Howler monkeys, the soothing sounds of the Caribbean Sea, and the peace of a pristine natural environment, I discovered connectedness. I found union. I completed my 200 hour YTT with the Kula Collective and registered with the Yoga Alliance. I am also a nationally registered and licensed Occupational Therapist in the State of New Mexico. I believe that I was put on this Earth to be a Healer. I started Three Trees Health and Wellness, LLC to share the true blessings of what Yoga can offer. The three trees in my logo are especially meaningful. These trees stand for my family and for our loss of Elan. You see, the name Elan means tree. They remind me everyday to keep going. To give the best of myself in every moment while honoring my son’s life through my actions and what I give to this world. They remind me to take care of myself, to genuinely listen to my needs and heed to them. The three trees have become my foundation. They symbolize the strength it took and continues to take to move forward, to grow upward and outward. I teach yoga because I truly believe it has saved my life. It is my life’s honor and pleasure to share it with you.
