With this ongoing heat, it can become a struggle to keep animals of all kinds cool. Please keep your animals welfare in mind. All the animals at PC have fans and shade during the day. On extremely hot days horses get hosed and a sand bath to help cool them down. Just remember: Do not turn out a freshly hosed horse out into the sun. The sun can heat up the water on the coat, and can overheat the horse.

Exciting News: DJB Equestrian Center is moving to a new facility. I will be opening back up at Pilots Cove in Newburg MD as a private training facility. Later in the summer both Pilots Cove any DJB will be offering services to the equestrian community, from hay for sale to training packages for your horse. More information will become available after the official move in date of May 1st.

I hope everyone has been enjoying their summer. I have been busy the this last week on trying to get the Big Field's grass cut. I don't have enough horses on the field anymore to have them keep the grass cut for me, ha ha. We do have an immediate opening for one horse. This is a great facility for the retired horse. Lots of grass, quality hay supplied in the field through the winter, hay supplied for when the horses have to stay in stalls, a stall for when the weather is too unforgiving, and quality grain fed twice a day. Prices start at $300, and go up from there. Please message me if you have any questions.
