🌸 April is a season of renewal… and your body feels it too.

Eating with the seasons isn’t just about flavor, it’s about aligning your body with what nature is offering right now. Spring brings fresh greens, vibrant vegetables, and juicy fruits that support detoxification, digestion, and overall vitality.

So what should I be munching on this Month?
🫐 Blueberries
🍐Pears
🥭Mango
🌿Celery
🌿Peas
🌿Asparagus

When you eat seasonally, you’re not only getting more nutrients and better flavor, you’re also supporting your body in the exact way it needs during this time of year.

One of my favorite simple rituals right now? Growing fresh mint and turning it into tea 🌱 It’s grounding, refreshing, and such a beautiful way to connect with your food.

If you’re ready to nourish your body in alignment with the season, I walk you through exactly what to eat and why in my latest blog.

🌿 Spring is nature’s invitation to grow something fresh… starting right in your own kitchen.

An indoor herb garden is one of the simplest ways to elevate your meals, boost flavor, and reconnect with your food on a deeper level. Fresh herbs aren’t just delicious, they’re more nutrient-dense, aromatic, and bring a vibrant, living energy into your space. ✨

I personally love growing green onions with all the Chinese cooking I do. There’s something so grounding about picking it fresh and turning it into a ritual. 🌱

🔥🐎Chinese New Year is more than a calendar change. It is a collective reset for the body, mind, and spirit. On February 17, 2026, we enter the Year of the Horse, which lasts through February 5, 2027.

In Chinese astrology, each animal year is paired with one of the five elements. Fire adds intensity, passion, vision, and transformation. The Fire Horse is known for:
🔥Powerful life force and charisma
🔥 Bold leadership and independence
🔥Creative fire and visionary thinking
🔥 Rapid change and momentum
🔥A call toward authenticity and truth

Fire Horse energy is electric. It does not tiptoe. It awakens. It catalyzes. Historically, Fire Horse years are remembered as times of major personal and collective shifts. They are often associated with breakthroughs, reinvention, and the courage to live more honestly.

It is a beautiful time to ask:
Where am I ready to move forward with confidence?
What part of me is ready to feel alive again?

You can honor this season in simple ways:

✨ Gently declutter your home to clear stagnant energy
✨ Light a candle and set an intention for your health
✨ Wear red for vitality and good fortune
✨ Write what you are grateful for from the past year
✨ Open your windows to invite fresh energy

Nourish yourself with warming, symbolic foods:

🥟 Dumplings for nourishment and abundance
🍜 Long noodles for longevity
🍊 Citrus fruits for brightness and good fortune
🥬 Leafy greens for growth
🍠 Root vegetables for grounding and digestion

These warm foods support digestion, blood sugar balance, and nervous system safety.

Support the season with heart centered colors:

• Red for vitality
• Gold for abundance
• Green for renewal
• Earth tones for grounding

The Horse reminds us that healing is not about fixing what is broken. It is about remembering that you were designed to move, grow, and thrive.

💔Are you a victim of Human Giver Syndrome? 💔

The Human Giver Syndrome is common- it's about constantly putting the wants and needs of others before our own, leaving us tired, stressed out and unable to fully relax and rejuvenate.

As we navigate through the holidays, it's important to check in with ourselves and ask if the actions we take are supportive of our OWN well-being, happiness, and life longevity OR compensated for someone else's happiness.

Check out our latest blog post for more information about The Human Giver Syndrome and how to fight it! Follow the link in our bio.

🍁 WHAT’S THE HEALTHIEST & TASTIEST FOODS TO EAT IN NOVEMBER? 🍂

Did you know that seasonal foods are not only fresher and tastier—they’re also more nutrient-rich than out-of-season produce?

Even though I love my year-round blueberries and avocados 🫐🥑, nothing compares to the flavor (and energy) of foods picked fresh from local farms right after harvest.

💡 When fruits and veggies are allowed to ripen naturally on their parent plant, research shows they contain more vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants!

✨ November’s In-Season Beauties:
🍑 Pomegranates – Jewel-like seeds that sparkle with antioxidants.
🫐 Figs – Sweet, luscious, and divine in salads or desserts.
🍊 Kumquats – Tiny citrus bursts of sunshine for your immune system!
🥬 Cabbage – Grounding, detoxifying, and perfect for soups or slaws.
🧅 Onions – The soulful base of every comforting fall dish.
🍄 Mushrooms – Earthy and rich, supporting immune + gut health.
