Our Memorial Day BBQ was a wonderful celebration filled with great food, fun, and patriotic spirit. 🇺🇸 Residents and families enjoyed hot dogs with all the fixings, sweet cotton candy, and a special visit from the ice cream truck. 🌭🍦 We also had live patriotic music that brought everyone together as we remembered and honored those who served our country. ❤️🤍💙

🐾 Pet of the Month 🐾

🐶 Arf! Arf! Arf! My name is Sparky, and I am a Cairn Terrier (well, mostly, that is). I'm 6 years old. I have beautiful brown eyes and one ear that folds down. My mom, Kathleen, claims that I listen to only half of what she says since my ear flops down. She rescued me from the Humane Society when I was only 1 year old, and for that I'm grateful. 🏡 I was happier when she decided to select The Inn at Garden Plaza as our home. I have met a lot of wonderful people who make me feel welcome!

Kathleen is a good Mom. I love to hang out at the dog park, so stop by and I will be pleased to let you scratch my fold-down ear! 😁

🏇 Yesterday, our community was off to the races with a hilarious Kentucky Derby celebration! 😂

🐴 Our directors saddled up on stick horses and raced for the win while residents cheered from the sidelines and placed their bets on their favorite horse. Laughter filled the room as everyone got into the Derby spirit with friendly competition, fun, pretty hats, and plenty of excitement. It was a memorable afternoon full of smiles, racing fun, and community spirit! 😊👒
