Folks: we all love our dogs, obviously.
But please stop including them in your weekend warrior plans unless they’re conditioned.
It’s your decision to be sore after a 14er, but subjecting your old dog who’s a couch potato to the same thing is unfair.
Loving walks or playing ball is not the same as hard terrain and rocky incline.

Since we aren’t parents, we ranch… and so much is unpredictable. Including donkey foaling!
This beautiful little girl was born late Monday night and is doing well. Yesterday she was just a little too quiet for my liking so I stayed home yesterday for observation.

One more foal due, literally imminently 😅

After seeing “we have clean dry roads in the springs!” I decided to head down the hill. Well, I made it to divide on snow packed icy roads, but this miserable wind is going to make the show we did grt ip here turn to even more ice!
