Screening tools can help raise awareness and encourage early conversations about support and care. Taking a moment to assess your habits can be an important step toward better health and well‑being.

We were proud to host our first Continuing Education Lunch and Learn of the year at Cedar Springs Hospital.

On March 26, we welcomed community professionals for an engaging CE event on using art therapy interventions to treat substance use disorder, presented by Harmonie Kerkow, MS, LPC. Attendees earned 1.0 NBCC‑approved CE credit while connecting, learning and exploring approaches in behavioral health care.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the event a success. We look forward to continuing our CE series and strengthening collaboration across our professional community.

If you’re interested in attending our next CE Lunch and Learn, contact angela.quadrani@uhsinc.com for more information.

We recently gathered for our Q1 Town Hall led by our CEO, Bob Kedelis, alongside our leadership team. It was a chance to celebrate the great work happening across Cedar Springs and, most importantly, to listen to our employees.

Employee feedback shapes our direction, strengthens our culture, and helps us continue delivering exceptional care to our community.

Substance abuse can break the bonds of trust between people we depend on: trust between an individual, their family, friends and themselves. When these bonds get broken, it only works to alienate and isolate the person even more.

Our programs bring people back into community. First, into a treatment environment where trust builds between the individual and their caregivers. As healing progresses, that trust extends to others in recovery, the world at large and most importantly, to themselves.

Every healing journey is unique, and the voices of our patients remind us why this work matters. Their courage, resilience and progress inspire our team each day.

At Cedar Springs, we are committed to providing compassionate, evidence‑based care that helps individuals rediscover hope and move toward healthier futures.

We are honored to walk alongside our patients as they take steps toward growth and recovery. Their stories speak for themselves, and we are grateful they have chosen to share them.
