This year several agencies, community members, and community partners purchased engraved pavers at the site of the Memorial to honor the fallen officers in the Pikes Peak Region. We wish to send a heartfelt thank you to the following:

• UC Health purchased a paver to honor the first known fallen officer in the Pikes Peak Region - Marshal William J. Shea, Victor Marshal's Office

• A private citizen purchased a paver to honor the second fallen officer in the Pikes Peak Region - Officer Benjamin Bish, Colorado Springs Police Department

• A private citizen purchased a paver to honor Dept. of Corrections Executive Director Thomas Clements and a paver to honor Parole Officer Christine Guerin Sandoval

• Colorado State Troopers Family Foundation purchased pavers to honor their fallen -- Trooper Harold Bechtelheimer and Trooper Charles A. Fry

• Fountain PD purchased pavers to honor their agency's fallen -- Marshal John H. Lindamood and Officer Julian Becerra

• Manitou PD purchased a paver to honor Manitou Springs Detective Sgt. Donald R. Laabs

• UCCS purchased a paver to honor its fallen officer - Officer Garret Swasey

Others have stepped up their support of the Memorial including the Police Foundation of Colorado Springs, Fraternal Order of Police Colorado Lodge #9, El Paso County Sheriff's Dept. Honor Guard, Labor House Construction, and Pikes Peak Region Law Enforcement Family Support

Pavers are still available for purchase but will not be in place until May, 2026.
