A flat tire isn’t just annoying — it can bring your whole day to a stop. And let’s be honest… it always happens at the worst time: like on vacation or over the weekend… when Westpeak is closed.😅

✨ What to have on had to stay rolling and avoid the chaos:

✅ 1–2 spare tubes (make sure they match your exact tire size!)
✅ A compact hand pump or electric bike pump
✅ A patch kit (just in case!)

💡 Pro tip: Wheelchair tires are a lot like bike tires — tubes, pumps, and accessories are easy to find at your local bike shop 🚲

❄️ A Holiday Hallmark Moment ❄️

During the first snowstorm of the season, a power wheelchair was found abandoned on a Colorado sidewalk. Thanks to a caring community and , we were able to help reunite the wheelchair with its owner.

Before returning the power wheelchair, we took it back to our office for a cleaning, maintenance check, and battery charge —ready for everyday life again.

Moments like this remind us that mobility is more than equipment. It’s independence - it’s connection - it’s a way of life. We’re incredibly grateful to serve our community throughout the Denver Metro and Colorado Springs areas.

Last week, Westpeak Mobility with the Denver Barbarians Wheelchair Rugby Team had the honor of attending the very first Carl Edward Foundation Fundraiser.

At Westpeak, we understand the challenges that come with limited insurance coverage and the critical need for complex rehab equipment. One of our own ATPs had the opportunity to share the impact that insurance has on the complex rehab services Westpeak provides.
