🌟 Saturday Shoutout: PJ Williams 🌟
Some people retire to slow down — but not PJ. Since moving to Colorado Springs from the east coast, he and his wife have embraced the outdoors in the biggest way possible. PJ has climbed all 58 of Colorado’s 14ers and is now chasing the state’s 100 highest peaks — with only 14 left to go! 🏔️
And if that wasn’t enough, he’s also a force on the racquetball court — crowned the 2019 State Men’s “A” Champion and the 2024 National Men’s 65+ “A” Champion. 🎾
Cryotherapy has become part of PJ’s secret weapon for recovery, helping him cut his downtime in half after grueling 20+ mile hikes or 4-day tournaments.
And his take on adventure and recovery says it all:
💭 “There’s NOTHING like car camping at 5 degrees and hiking a 14er in 30 mph winds! Crazy? Yep. Satisfying? Tremendously! Sitting in the cryochamber at Goosebumps to recover when I’m done? Exquisite.”
What’s next? 🌍 PJ is preparing for Patagonia and Everest Base Camp — proving that adventure doesn’t slow down, it only grows bigger.

⭐ Saturday Shoutout: Lisa Hernandez ⭐

When hip pain started interfering with her life, wife, mom of two, and local mortgage lender Lisa Hernandez turned to Goosebumps. After just three Whole Body Cryo sessions, she felt a real difference.

By October 2024, the diagnosis came: a torn labrum in her right hip, with surgery scheduled for February 2025. Lisa stayed consistent—adding Red Light Therapy, ramping up her sessions, and even coming in every day before surgery. She credits this routine with helping her rock her procedure and bounce back quickly.

Her recovery? Incredible. She began PT two weeks later, graduated in just 5 ½ weeks, and now—only 6 months post-surgery—she’s back hiking 5+ miles and even summited Mount Rainier! 🏔️ (📸 see her photo!)

Her advice:
👉 “Consistency is my favorite advice. Be consistent in life, structure, kids—your whole life.”

Fun fact: Lisa once did a cold plunge in Antarctica! 🐧❄️

Had my first post-op checkup on Thursday and the PA was so impressed! 🙌
✅ Walking strong and steady
✅ No cane needed early on
✅ Swelling is minimal
✅ Bruising is gone
✅ Range of motion looking great
✅ Healing right on track

I give the credit to cryotherapy, light therapy, compression therapy—plus the best support team ever in Monte 🩷 Cristo!

❄️ Saturday Shoutout: To Our One and Only Donna ❄️

This week’s Shoutout is different — because it’s for the woman who usually makes everyone else the star. Today, Donna, it’s your turn. 💙

For those who don’t know the backstory: Goosebumps Cryotherapy exists because Donna refused to let back pain win. She discovered cryotherapy, dragged Debbie into the cold with her (literally), and together they turned personal healing into a mission: to bring relief and recovery made cool to Colorado Springs.

Now, Donna isn’t always up front in the shop — not because she doesn’t love chatting with our Goosebumps Fam (she does), but because she’s behind the scenes running the show. Think of her as the Wizard of Oz… if the Wizard also had a wicked sense of humor, an endless to-do list, and a talent for turning chaos into community.

We also have to brag on her a little: Donna’s been crushing her own health journey, dropping pounds and gaining energy. She’s living proof that transformation isn’t just something we talk about at Goosebumps — it’s something we do. And she does it with grit, laughter, and the occasional sass that makes us love her even more.

Donna, here’s what we want you to hear (and yes, you’re going to have to sit still and take it): We see you. We appreciate you. We’re rooting for you. We are so proud of you!! As you recover from surgery, know that your Goosebumps family has your back — and your dream. We’ll keep working hard to make sure Goosebumps is everything you imagined it could be when you first said, “Hey, I think cryotherapy could change lives.” (Spoiler: you were right.)
