She wasn’t coming in for cryotherapy that day… but life had other plans. ❄️💙
Hey Goosebumps Family! This Saturday Shoutout started on the sidewalk.
We met Robyn Hadley after she was tripped by her dogs’ leashes on her way into Happy Hounds next door… and broke her patella in HALF.
Donna ran out with localized cryo while waiting for paramedics. A month after surgery, Robyn came back to say thank you.
Now? We see her (and dance with her 💃) at least 3x a week.
Robyn uses whole body cryo, localized cryo, and red light therapy alongside PT, Pilates, and her busy career as a realtor — climbing stairs and walking job sites like a champ.
Here’s what she says:
“Considering the severity of my injury, I think the rate of recovery has been faster than expected. I had to do the work, but with a lot of support doing the therapies at Goosebumps, it’s good progress.”
Cryotherapy helps her manage the pain, tightness, and swelling — especially after tough PT days.
And one of her biggest realizations?
“Recovery isn’t linear. I have good days and then days that feel like I’ve regressed… but I’m told that’s normal.”
She also shared something that meant a lot to us:
“I was skeptical at first… I really didn’t like whole body cryo for the first few sessions. I loved how I felt afterwards but dreaded going in. I’m glad I didn’t give up before giving it a chance.”
Now she looks forward to it — and she’s no longer taking pain medication.
Her advice?
✨ Don’t be discouraged if progress feels slow.
✨ Do the work.
✨ Stay consistent.
✨ Breathe through the hard moments.
Robyn, what once felt impossible now feels achievable — and watching that shift has been incredible. We’re so grateful you’re part of our Goosebumps family. 💙❄️
