Update (includes her most recent pic before surgery)*

Sunday Morning:

Mom went in and out of arterial fibrillation, so she will NOT be moved, this morning.

Mom still hasn't walked yet, but did go from her bed to the chair beside her bed, with PT/OT help once. She has refused to stand up and walk, ATM, but we (the nurses and I) hope she will make progress today. If no progress, she will see the doctor again, and a plan will be put into action.

If you want to send her flowers or balloons or w/e, pls be patient as I wait to know what room myself, but I will letcha know as soon as I know something.

If you have my number, feel free to hmu, and if I cannot answer, just leave me a vm, and I will return your call asap

Mom is in The ICU and if all goes well, she will move from there to her next step (room) where she will work to be stable enough to continue her post op rehab from home.

I expect Mom will have her phone and be in moved to her room Saturday evening or Sunday

I will update you more, tomorrow.

Hey there Grandma Janie followers. I have a super huge favor to ask. I need you to “share” this post and hopefully it will find the right person.

The weekend before Christmas, I set up my table with scarfs and blankets between the Dollar Tree and Safeway on Mesa Ridge in Fountain.

A gentleman asked me to make him a 49ers scarf with pockets EXTRA LONG. So. ......... I have now made the scarf —- HOWEVER

I have lost his phone number. Don’t ask how. It’s an iPhone. 🤬🤬

So maybe if y’all share this far and wide, it will find him. Thanks.

I watched the YouTube tutorial and promptly began going through hundreds of yards of fabric (Jan Brooks). Plus realizing that the licensed team print broadcloth I buy on a regular basis for pillow cases and hairtie scrunchies is also a very high thread count, I returned from the basement with a 25” pile of “gender neutral” fabric.

Yesterday as I rolling this idea around in my head, a customer in my drivethru mentioned that if I could make 6 Steelers masks, she would buy them. So THAT part has already been tested.

Now for some input please. I only know of one person on my friends list that is local AND works in healthcare. Do not know who, if any, work in other areas. Senior care - child care - home delivery services -

Hey there GJW followers.

I had a space for us in July at the Woodland Park Farmers Market and was planning on going again in September. However, I have received a couple of emails where the tone has led me to believe that they don’t want me to return. So. As soon as I figure out where I will be welcomed.

Apparently the powers that be just don’t get it. I rather doubt any of you would call named designers with labels a “sewing and alterations” thing. Nor would you refer to their labeled products as “arts and crafts”. Really!!

All that being said, I’m checking into some other venues and I will let all y’all know as soon as I get that information.
