Why Can Some People 'Hear' Colors? About 4 percent of the people on Earth experience a mysterious phenomenon called synesthesia: They hear a sound and automatically see a color; or, they read a certain word, and a specific hue enters their mind's eye. The condition has long puzzled scientists, but a small new study may offer some clues.

About 4 percent of the people on Earth experience a mysterious phenomenon called synesthesia.

Was having trouble with my hearing aids yesterday. I called and they said come right over, so I did. 15 Minutes later everything was back in working order and ready to go. No charge, and I'm a happy customer. Thanks, you guys are great!
Met with Dr. Katie Williams this afternoon for a hearing aid checkup.
This was my first visit. I was very impressed with her and staff.
Their costumer service was excellent. I was not kept waiting and they were very thorough. I would not hesitate to refer Dr. Williams for any hearing needs.
I was referred yo HEARING Consultants by my previous audiologist and I found their service was not only efficient but fair, friendly and spot on. Not only will I use them again but I can recommend them highly!!
If you need to have hearing aids I highly recommend you contact Hearing Consultants. They are very professional and love what they do. Dr. Katie Williams is the type of doctor who show an interest in your and your health. I am very pleased with my hearing aids and look forward to many years of association with Hearing Consultants.
Having lost the use of my hearing aids in a “swimming incident”, I checked with a local big box store retailer in Colorado Springs and found them to be competitive in their prices for a new pair. However, I seldom make large dollar decisions without some amount of research, and with that I also visited Hearing Consultants, an audiology service that I’d received recommendations for. And I was lucky I did.

The Hearing Consultants audiologist who served me, Dr. Katie Williams, first tested my drowned pair of hearing aids to see if they were salvageable. They could be repaired but in comparing the cost of that operation against the purchase of a new pair, considering upgrades in newer aids, warranty terms, and with the help of my insurance and the resultant affordability of new hearing aids–all explained in simple language by Dr. Williams–economically it made more sense to get a new pair. (And not only that, my old pair of hearing aids would be repaired and donated to an organization which would dispense them to an underprivileged recipient.) I chose to get a new pair of hearing aids from Hearing Consultants rather than repairing the old pair or returning to the big box store hearing service.

Dr. Williams was extremely knowledgeable and professional during my office visit, (much more so than the audiologist I worked with when I purchased my first pair from a competitor). What’s more, she was empathetic to my conditions of hearing loss and tinnitus, and–simply–pleasant to work with. She explained my options in simple terms and allowed me to make decisions per my personal needs.

I strongly encourage anyone with compromised hearing issues and/or those dealing with tinnitus to stop in and chat with a member of the Hearing Consultants’ audiology staff regarding solutions to their hearing problems.
I was very impressed with the staff. From the front desk to the Doctor. They took great care to make sure I was comfortable. Wow!
Many thanks for the fast and efficient software update to my Phonak HAs! You folks are terrific--always on top of issues that might adversely affect patients. I appreciate your proactivity, solving problems before we patients even experience them.
Dr. Longoria professionally navigated the VA's requirements to get me a set of awesome, high-tech hearing aids, then properly set 'em up. So far, this old fly-guy is hearing family, friends, movies and the TV as well as I did 40 years ago. Thanks for great service, Hearing Consultants!
Always a good experience. Doctor Iliff always listen to my concerns, and addresses them.
They have taken excellent care of my hearing issues including problems with a hearing aid.
All of the staff and Drs are so pleasant and professional!
They are very professional, made me comfortable and explained everything to me so I understood what was going on and what to expect as being a veteran and how long I should wait before I hear something for being g choiced out
