How many cases of breast cancer are missed bc of this? 🫠

TBH, I wasn’t sure I wanted to do a mammogram in the first place because I was concerned about the amount of radiation that is specifically concentrated on the breasts.

But I also know a ton of people going through breast cancer treatment right now, so I decided to get it done.

Curious, if you’re a woman over 35, have you had a mammogram yet? Or do you opt for a different type of imaging instead?

Getting a lil nervous about switching from progesterone to estrogen soon, but also kind of excited 🤪

Technically, I could stay on a lower dose of progesterone on a daily basis, but I chose to do a higher dose for only days 14 to 28 of my cycle.

This more closely mimics the natural progression of hormones in the body, since you don’t make progesterone until you ovulate.

My estrogen has been on the lower side for quite some time, and my symptoms align with low estrogen as well.

✅ itchy ears
✅ low energy
✅ low libido
✅ General “meh” feeling most of the time
✅ Tired 😴

I can’t wait to see if I see an improvement of these symptoms.

I will consider testosterone if estrogen and progesterone alone aren’t helping enough, but for now, I am starting with the two most prevalent hormones in the female body.

Btw…The reason I talk so much about sleep so far is because progesterone is a hormone that you take at night because it makes you sleepy due to increasing your GABA levels in the brain.

This helps control nighttime anxiety, 3 AM wakings, hot flashes, etc.
