My wife had a broken root on a tooth that needed to come out. Dr. Hull and the entire staff were exceptional! My wife opted for twilight sleep so if there were problems with the root, she would be out for the work. Our initial office visit was fantastic, Dr. Hull explained in detail what he would do. The office gave us detailed instructions and explanations on the procedure and were fantastic. On the day of her surgery, we arrived first thing in the morning and I figured it would be awhile. Less than 1/2 hour later they called me back and to my surprise, it was not to talk about things before the surgery, but to get my wife. The procedure was done and everything went well. Pain medication was prescribed just in case there were issues, but we ended up not needing it. Monday following the visit, the staff called to check on here and once again made it clear that if there were any issues at all, to call the office. My wife's mouth is healing well and I have nothing but good things to say about her procedure and I am truly impressed by everyone in the office. I wish more place took care of their customers this well. Thank you for making a scary procedure go so well and helping us through this.

AMOS is incredibly proud to sponsor the "North Pole Fantasy", an event with the The Junior League of Colorado Springs (JLCS) and CPCD giving children a head start. The event benefitted 35 children in the foster system, and offered a safe way to experience the magic of the holidays, meet Santa and Mrs. Clause, and drive off with an armload of presents.

PFC is a GREAT opportunity for young athletes to improve their athletic skills, while also being inspired by current and former NFL athletes to further develop character traits that will help them on- and off-the-field. PFC works with youth in the community to develop themselves into the very best athletes and people they can be.

"Current and former NFL athletes from teams across the league—including Houston Texans linebacker Dylan Cole, Colts Long Snapper Luke Rhodes, Saints Running Back Divine Ozigbo and many more—are volunteering their time and talents to help coach the 15th annual Pro Football Camp!

For the past 14 years, Pro Football Camp has created an instructional, fun, and uplifting experience for kids 7 - 14 years old in the Colorado Springs area. More than 3,600 kids have learned not only football skills, but also developed character traits off-the-field from listening to NFL athletes coaching at the Pro Football Camp, who share their stories of perseverance, respect, and overcoming adversity in their lives. The following CDC Guidance Protocols are being enforced at AMOS to ensure the safety of you and the AMOS Team. Furthermore, we are mindful of the professional recommendations and guidelines listed below and will continue to monitor the ever-evolving changes of the COVID-19 crisis.

Given the nature of our specialty within dentistry, we will continue to remain open for our patients in need. We, along with our communities, are hoping this public health crisis will end quickly. We are committed to continuing your care, and if you do need or wish to postpone your appointment with us we will happily reschedule your appointment to a later date. As more information becomes available we will continue to update you with any changes to the situation. CDC GUIDANCE PROTOCOLS
In an effort to help stop the spread of this virus we are encouraging:
1. Regular hand-washing and overall routine hygiene.
2. Avoid touching your face.
3. Practice social distancing. AMOS is enabling a "Virtual Waiting Room"- we will allow you to call our office to check in and stay in your car rather than the waiting room. We will call you when it is time to bring you and your loved one straight back to our clinical treatment room.
4. Limit the number of friends or family members you bring with you to your appointment to one (1) person. Others will be asked to wait outside our office.
5. We will take your temperature upon arrival at our office as another precautionary step, and assist you in rescheduling your appointment should you feel ill.
6. Answer a series of brief screening questions to assess your health and ensure safety.

COVID-19 SCREENING QUESTIONS:
Do you have a fever, cough, or flu-like symptoms?
Have you have been in contact with anyone diagnosed with COVID-19 or being tested for the virus?
Have you have traveled out of the country in the last 2 months?
Have you have traveled to the following counties in Colorado in the past week: Eagle, Summit, Pitkin, or Gunnison?

If you answer yes to any of the above questions we will work with you to reschedule your appointment for a later date.

CURRENT RECOMMENDATIONS AND GUIDELINES
The President's Coronavirus Guidelines for America state “If you work in a critical infrastructure industry such as healthcare services... you have a special responsibility to maintain your normal work schedule. You and your employers should allow CDC guidance to protect your health at work.”

The American Dental Association (ADA) and Colorado Dental Association Issues Recommendation to Postpone Non-Essential Treatment for 3 weeks.

The American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons Member Alert: COVID-19 Guidance for OMS Practices state "in the short term, over the next 2 to 3 weeks, procedures that are determined to by the oral and maxillofacial surgeon to be completely elective should be deferred."

AMOS: Associates in Maxillofacial & Oral Surgery is proud to have partnered with the The Junior League of Colorado Springs (JLCS), Sky West, CPCD, Chick-fil-A North Academy, and others to present Fantasy Flight, an amazing event that happened this past Saturday, December 7th.

Flight 1225, called the Fantasy Flight, took off out of the Colorado Springs Airport, flew around for a while while singing Christmas carols, and then landed back at the airport, which had been transformed into the North Pole. On board, 29 children - 26 of whom have been in foster care. Once at the North Pole the children got to meet Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus, and all walked away with huge bags of toys presented by the jolly guy himself.

The night also included dinner for the children and their families from Chick-fil-A North Academy, appearances from the Go Team Therapy Dogs, area team mascots, arts and crafts, and more than a little Christmas magic.
